How it works

Three steps. Two seconds. One clip.

1

Always buffering

Screenclip runs silently in the background, keeping a rolling buffer of up to your last 2 minutes of screen activity.

2

Something happens

A bug appears. A demo goes perfectly. Something worth sharing just happened on your screen.

3

Just clip it

Click the floating Clip button. Your clip is instantly saved and ready to share.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know.

Does it slow down my browser?

No. Screenclip uses minimal CPU and memory. The buffer runs efficiently in the background and you won't notice any performance impact.

Where are my clips saved?

Clips are saved directly to your downloads folder as WebM files. Everything stays on your device - nothing is uploaded to any server.

What's the difference between Free and Solo?

Free gives you 5 clips total with a 30-second buffer and watermark. Solo unlocks unlimited clips, up to 2-minute buffer, no watermark, and speed controls.

Can I use my license on multiple computers?

Each license is for one user. You can use it on multiple personal devices, but Team and Studio plans are better for sharing across colleagues.

What browsers are supported?

Currently Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox and Safari support may come in the future.

Is my screen data private?

100%. All recording and processing happens locally in your browser. Your screen content never leaves your device.
